Houston car show starts Jan 26th. Anyone have inside info whether the ZR1 will be there and what color?? I would be surprised if it wasn't!!!

I'm pretty sure that GM has them out on the tour......
I'm hoping to make the Balt/ Wash show this year just for that reason.

How about you shoot some good pics and post them up for us to drool over...

I just spotted this morning that someone over at DC posted several days ago that the B-J blue ZR1 is coming to Houston. We will know for sure in a couple of days from now if not sooner.

Yaay.. of course it will be secured with armed guards and no one will be allowed in range.

Not the same thing, but I remember them roping off the latest mustang when it came out. Frustrated I exclaimed this car is about 25K!!! -sigh.

Folks are now posting elsewhere that have attended the show over the weekend that the ZR1 is NOT at the Houston show. WTF?????????

Is that right?? I bet they have all the latest truck/SUV accessories a man can dream of. LA/NYC/Detroit all seem to get first class car shows. Houston is just a detour/rest stop for the dealers to showcase regular cars. I should just fill up the gas tank and visit the dealers on 59 - then maybe I can actually sit in a Porsche/Ferrari/Lambo/etc rather than get glared at.

I have gone to the Auto show here in houston(sunday) and I was dissapointed to see that the ZR1 was not there. I will probably be going back today(wednesday) or Friday. As of sunday though, The ZR1 nor the GTR were there.

I have chosen not to go this year. GM classifies Houston as a "B" show and that is the reason the ZR1 will not be there. What a crock!!! There are probably more corvettes in the greater Houston area than anywhere in the country outside of Los Angeles. Who at GM had their head of their rear end??
