Heard the same thing last night from a buddy in Georgia, nothing specific, just "some glitches". He has a connection at the factory.
Also, some large Vette dealerships are giving deposits back due to allotments being pulled. GM giving ZR1 allotment to big truck/SUV dealerships that can't give away vehicles right now. They're hurting, so GM wants to keep them happy. Anybody hearing the same thing?

I live N of detroit and have a friend that works at a Roush facility. I have heard from him, and seen cell phone pics of ZR1'S there are approx 100 at his shop alone. They are having several issues according to him. GM techs are constantly there, and issues are being fixed by Roush, and GM. Engine issues, and Delaminating carbon fiber.....plus a few more..

Welcome to
OK ... so GM is transporting ZR1's from BG, KY to MI and working them over in a Ford tuner shop?

I believe it. The same thing happened with the '06 Z06s at the beginning of production in 2005. It was a big logistical nightmare trying to get the trucks from BG to Detroit and then out to the dealers. I remember some people had their cars built but then didn't get them for a long time. They had some issues wth the early production cars that they either couldn't work out at the factory or couldn't handle the volume of rework at the factory so GM contracted Roush to do the rework on some of the Z06s.

This also happened the first batch of Z16's. They went through the line without hoods. I'm sure they will figure something out.
Not the very first Z16s. A few did sneek out of the factory with the few good CF hoods they had at the start of production. Then they started parking the cars behind the factory and storing them without hoods until they got more good ones. I was lucky, mine got built early enough in July!
