Re: ZR1 vs. C6ZO6

I would love to have a red c6z and a red zr1. I think that was probably a red c5z under the car cover too on the lift.

Always great to compare a modded car to an unmodded car....

Re: ZR1 vs. C6ZO6

mike he also had headers

you kknow a tune a headers on a zr1 makes them potent

your just a jealous person.....that cant congrulate a good driver, on a good win.

you know a Lighter z06 and driver mod can beat a Zr1 . We were both modded cooler weather benefited the FI car more. So he had that going for him too.

Adding boost makes the race equal.( cooler ambient extracts max PSI)....he is poor driver . i equaled the car and obliterated the man operating it.

Yeah its good when 2 modded cars race. And the underdog wins

Re: ZR1 vs. C6ZO6

I would think that a cam only or for sure a cam and heads C6Z could hang or beat a stock ZR1. That extra 250 pounds doesn't help the ZR1.

First he had only a tune and you had... let's see, I believe you said

Sorry, although I personally wouldn't buy a ZR1 because you CAN mod a C5Z or a C6Z and produce more hp than the ZR1 for fewer dollars, but with $5,000 in motor upgrades I would certainly HOPE you could build a faster car than one that only has 130 more flywheel hp than a C6Z (and that's not even counting this special "driver mod" you spoke of)

congrats on your big win

Re: ZR1 vs. C6ZO6

Yeah, Mike only spent about $5k on his C5, and I bet it will beat a ZR1 down the 1/4 mile.

Re: ZR1 vs. C6ZO6

Yeah but can you still do 200+ . Mike Norris is a good guy.... actually its a bit less than 5k$ thats including dropping the runflats with replacements.

You know how much Zo6 tires cost.!

He(mike) guarantees to be tuned for a daily driving.

Mike you dog me constantly......i know C5 Z's are monsters once moded. As i've said i'm part owner of a dynojet..and somewhat mechanically inclinded.
You've hatet me from the start......but i beat this former GT500, now Zr1 hotshot , late 20's punk ... and i'll do i again and again.

I dont think i can beat you, driver mod and likely drag slicks .... but i''d give it a go. I'm a confident 45y/o and had many cars both drag and track

Why can't you congruylate me.....my opponnet is gonna dirded methalol next. and i'm sure do other minor mods

geeze i've got 2 badasses wanting to down me
(that was a compliment to you)
