383 C5 Z06 vs. 427 C5 Z06

I was in 3rd @ 45 mph on the first pull, way down on the tach... should've been in 2nd. On the 2nd run I ran 5th into the limiter which is around 155-157with the MN12/3.90 combo.

Closest race I've ever been in:

Cool vids Dan! 2nd run was alot more representative of what your car can do when that 383 is in the power band! I bet the other guy was pretty surprised! Good job!

Good job Dan especially on the second run! Good to know you're not giving up that much.

Re: 383 C5 Z06 vs. 427 C5 Z06

His car is sort of a sleeper if you will... no lopey idle and factory titanium axle-back. It has a ram air box and I'm thinking that has to help him at those speeds. He was surprised by my car and asked if I was spraying on the 2nd run. Nope, we just started right in the sweet spot
