My Dad's new AMG 6.3 just got smoked by a Z06.

That is the story someone is telling right now.

I never street race, but for some reason couldn't resist the incredible growl coming from this AMG 6.3 teasing me today. It was a kid that couldn't have been older than 20 with his hat cocked to the side wheeling this thing. Car looked very slick and sounded oh so sweet.

We punched it from 50 to about 95 and I'm guessing I had 2 to 3 cars? Cool kid with a big thumbs up afterwards. If it was in fact his car and not his ol' man's, then I am jealous.


I haven't posted a street racing story in like 5 years, so if anything in here breaks a forum rule, I can edit.

Oh- my Z06 was in street trim with a 19/20 wheel combo (pushing 408rwhp)

Very cool. What was the kid driving? E-class? S-class? I wish I had one of those when I was under 20.

It was an AMG C63. It looks like it has 451hp and 443tq.

Street racing isn't the wisest thing to do, but I understand. Nuff said. Good spank.

I was at a light next to an SL55 AMG with a white haired distinguished looking fellow driving, and when the light turned green he stomped on it. Kinda took me be surprise. I didn't try to catch him because he was 5 car lengths ahead before I realized we were racing. I wonder now how badly I would have beat him.

If I had the money I would get any of the AMG series for a DD. I love them. The new C63 is a nice little car. The mercedes can be very sneaky quick. My friend has a C32 AMG and it is very fast for a supercharged 6 in a luxary sedan.
