Was a blast!! Great group of guys and everyone was hauling some serious butt. Nice to finally see some other corvette's on the track (and Z06's at that).
Hope Brian got the AAA tow home alright.
Last session was awesome as no one on the track and had 7 clean laps (a bunch of low 2:16's - 2:18's) during which the stock tires came and went. Still light years from Kevin's 2:12's and lower he was running in his '91 in traffic (??) That boy was flying!!!
By the way I already signed up for the nasa SE March event at Road Atlanta.
It's open so I wouldn't wait to long as it will likely fill up.
If a bunch of us end out going again we can really bring a feast. However, had the chicken,etc.. thanks a bunch again. It was awesome!!

I stayed for the 3rd session on Sunday (intermediate group), a porsche went off in the s's, (wheel came off!), I was about 6th in line in the clusterf$#k! Luckily didn't hit anyone, but I never got a session in-so I left at 2 pm.
Hey guys, I also had a GREAT weekend. Not sure what the heck is up with the car, but I doubt it's anything serious. I'll check into it later. AAA showed up around 5:30 and we finally got home and unloaded a couple hours later. That membership just paid for itself this year
The car was running great up until that one run with Larry (Rosso) in the car. It then started backfiring and throwing codes, so we immediately came in and shut her down. I'll let you know what I find.
Until then, I was having a blast and the car was running great. I was not crazy about those 275 front tires that Frisby sold me - they were a huge pain in the arse to get on the 18x11 wheels and they caused the car to understeer too much on corner entry, so I had to go slower than possible. The tires were in good shape, though, and gripped well. I was over 150 for the first time in the back straight and well into the high 140s on the front.
I was able to drive the M5 in the last instr. session and had a total blast with it, as usual. The tires weren't happy with me, but we were having a lot of fun.
I hope everyone else also had a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing you back again soon.

Those codes you had when I was in your car are the same ones I had earlier- Left Door, Right Door, AC, Radio, IPC??, PCM??, and others. I cleared mine and had no problems on my last run or on the way home.
Did yours reoccur after we cleared them?
Thanks for the ride!! Nice car! Very fast! Good driver!
See you next year...

Support our troops; bring them home.
Hey Larry, the codes that we looked at after we pulled into the south course pit lane were the comm codes. Then, later on, it was the P0300 and flashing SES light. The light is out now, but the engine sounds wrong. I plan to read the PCM with Autotap soon.
You're welcome for the ride, I had fun also. I have just as much fun from either seat these days.

Sounds like a great weekend. I'm jealous! I got in my car and started it yesterday... but it didn't help. So I watched my in car from the Runoffs. Didn't help much either. I miss being on the track!
Glad to hear you all had a good time and everyone came home in one piece.
