Anyone watching? Some pretty good racing so far. Just watched John Heinricy almost loose it in the chicane, he went through the grass though, in the Specter Works Corvette. The car sounds awesome from the onboard camera.
Awesome coverage. They're running through all the onboard cameras without commentary. Just turn the volume up on the tv and you feel like you're there.

Speed TV ended their Rolex coverage at 9pm est, so I'm going to set the VCR for 6am...sleep in, and turn Speed-TV on when I wake up....then watch the 6am segment before the Superbowl!
I just turned Speed-TV on, and I'm not sure what I'm watcing yet, but I see Corvettes running!
24hr-Jr and Smoke where hauling ass in the rain. When Jr came out he set a fast rain lap of the day at that point, then he spun it after that. No damage!
The smoke goes out and does a pass in the middle of a few cars on the high banks.
They are about a min ahead of the 2nd place right now with Wallace in the car.
You're watching a FIA race from SPA (one of the best tracks ever built). That Mosler is fast. It's up there with all the prototypes. That C5 is running pretty good. Too bad its windshield wipers are not working. From what I understand the SSGT cars in Grand Am are based off of those cars. So it's similar to a Speed GT car in modifications.
I wonder how many cars are going to be left tomorow. Usually about 3 cars go up in flames it seems during the night. I hope the Specter Werks (its werks not works right?) Corvette finishes.

In reviewing the entry list for the Rolex 24 Hour, I found the following Corvette entries:
Car #19, ACP Motorsports Corvette, GT Class, LS6 Corvette.
This is Kerry Hitt's entry. I met Kerry at last year's Z06 Fest, thanks to FRC Tom!
Car #24, Specterwerks/Sports, GT Class, Car serial #is NCMC5R12...
Car #46, Michael Baugham Racing, SGS Class, Corvette Z06, and the car's Serial Number is listed as 1G1YY22G2X5125945 (looks like an actual production VIN).
Car #52, GT Class, Gilbert Racing, Corvette.
Race is almost over...good luck to all our Corvette team entries!!!
I ran my car at Sebring Saturday, left around 5pm and passed through Daytona at about 8pm for a dinner stop. I could hear the race from I-95 !! Wicked loud !!
After dinner I was too bushed to stop, so we headed home... Plus the rain had picked up and I figured my kids would have had about 10 minutes of attention span... not enough to justify $200 to enter the infield and park.
Bummer for the Chevy, but it was a great finish to a great race.

"Wet, cold mess" is an understatement. I just woke up from finally sleeping. I worked the race as the fueler for the #68 Racer's Group Porsche GT3 RS car int he GT class. We were doing great until some jerk off in a Ferrari (#94) slammed into us going into a turn and spun us into the infield. Lots of damage, but we were able to get it back out there after the red flag. Fun race. I saw a lot of Corvette supporters there. That was good to see.
