580 to 600 rwhp, what qtr mile times?

Currently my Z16 is getting an ECS ATI D-1SC, 1 3/4 Kooks headers and an ECS Alcohol injection system. The numbers should be around 580 to the wheels (I hope) and I was wondering what similarly equipped cars are running in the quarter and what MPH can I expect on a good set of tires? Are 10's possible? Possible to hit 130 mph?

If you don't get 10's out of it, I would take it back!

All joking aside, it seems that 10's are usually driver limited, not limited by the car.

An example of this is my buddies '98 Z28: it went 11.5 with 330rwhp... several times. Putting the power to the pavement is the key. Just ask any 700hp 12 second Supra.

I would guess any 60' 2.0 or better would net you a 10 second ET.

is it too late to get a paxton over the ATI? had a paxton car next to an ATI car last night, paxton sounds much better at idle and it makes much more torque.

From what Chris told me, it was either he could install the ATI now since he has them in stock, or wait a few months until he got more Paxton kits in. Me being "Mr. Have to have it yesterday" decided to go with the ATI kit now. Unless of course Chris happens to come across a Paxton kit that he has laying around...maybe he can surprise me when I go to pick the car up.

I saw your car there, it was in a hundered pieces.
Seriously now, your goal should start out as a ten and then work down from there. Maybe mid tens with alot of practice. I'm sure 130+ mph is possible. My advice is to take your time to learn the car and its power before trying to max it out. Enjoy the car, bro.

Only 100 pieces? Jeez, those guys must be getting better.

At this point, the fastest car I've ever owned was my last Z06 which ran a 12.2 at 118. So I'll be happy as hell with a 10.999, especially if it can hit 130!

all you will need to run 10s is traction...plan on some slicks.

My tuner has a procharged couple that puts down 520rwhp, and he has turned 10.6's on Nitto's.
