Finally got her out to the track tonight with a little cooler temps (around 80 degrees). The MCRacing crew went with me and had to fix a little battery problem before I could make a pass. Even my fiancee (Heather) was able to make it out tonight.
Unfortunately only 2 runs .... the first pass I had a strong 60' time (1.475) but the lane I was in was slick and had to let off for just a tic to keep from going totally sideways on the second gear shift. Finished that pass at 10.13 at 136mph.
The second pass (different lane) I didn't get as strong a launch but didn't have to back out of the throttle either. I definately like the results....
2KC5 FRC MN6, Bad Head & Cam install, Failed Lifter, Burnt Clutch, Cracked Rotors, Bad Tune, Blown Piston, Blown Head Gasket, and faulty rockers.....but I still come back for more.....Installed/Tuned by LG Motorsports. CONGRATS MIKE. I knew it was only going to be a matter of time before you and the MC guys had your car in the 9's. NOW.... Make a road trip down to Houston with that bad boy car of yours on our Judgement Day. I NEED your help to hold off all the cars signed up to run me.
Nice! Way to go Mike. Great job to the MC Racing guys.

glad we finally got her there, the track sucked but the weather was great, Nick did some fine tuning the day before and picked up a little power and Mike and the car took care of the rest! The funny thing is the 9 sec pass looked bad from the start with the wheelspin, Matt and I started to turn away and go back to the pits, but I always make sure it gets down the track and sure enough... single digit on the board! Good job again Mike, it was a blast. Did you tell'em whats next??
