Thanks a lot for the responses guys. It was really good to get that monkey off my back.
Like Chris mentioned, I thought it was a suck pass when it was over. Got wheelhop off the line (that almost never happens to me) and some early tire spin and when the pass was through (I didn't bother to read the slip at first) I thought it was a 10.5 run and I was pissed.
I pull into the Pit area and all the guys and gals told me the final numbers and I thought there were just BS'ing me at first
Tony, in answer to your question...the boost has remained pretty steady at 14 lbs all summer but they put it on the dyno Friday afternoon and Nick was able to run a couple of lbs higher boost after he pulled some of the 'richness' out of the A/F. I'd say it was boosting at right around 16lbs last night.
As Chris indicated, we are now able to go to the next step and swap out the crank pulley for an 8 1/2" that I bought a few months ago. That should up the boost by about 5 or 6 more lbs and hopefully result in trap speeds in the mid to high 140's. We'll see...
Way to go Mike! I knew it was just a matter of time for you. Major congrats Bro!

I guess this is as good a thread as any to take time to thank the MCRacing guys, especially Matt, for a lot of hard work in getting my car running as good as it is.
I had a lot of setbacks over a 2 1/2 years period, primarily based upon an unbelievably super screw job I got from MTI out of Houston as well as some bad decisions by myself and the previous owners of MCRacing. I strongly suspect that if I had the current MC crew (Matt, Nick and Chris) building and working on my Z 3 years ago, this type of peformance would have happened much, much sooner.
With that in mind, I just want to say thanks to these guys again. They definately know their business and work diligently to get the most performance possible out of a Z06....and, unlike some others I've mentioned here, they stand behind their work!
I also need to throw out some cudos to several of the Procharger guys (especially Dorian) who not only assisted in my setup but also used some of our experiences to build a much better bracket and tensioner for high performance setups that they are now selling to the public.
Mike,
You are VERY fortunate to live in an area where you are close to a shop/tuner that knows what they are doing. I was very impressed with the guys from MC Racing when I met them at the fest. Customer support and service is critical when working with a project like your car. My hats off to Matt, Chris and the Procharger guys for providing you with the
help and support that is so critical with a car like yours.
Can't wait to see how much faster you'll be going with more boost and the cooler weather ahead! Good luck Bro!

Mike,
Great numbers!!!!! I guess its time to install some chutes on the back of that bad boy. Like Jimbo said, you are very fortunate to have the MC crew with you.
