I always knew Holedgr was good as evidenced by him always running 12.1s nearly bonestock on DRs when we first started racing. But after the track rental thursday, I think he's moved into J-Rod, Brent, etc...territory.
After he removed his n20 bottle we went out for some head to head action as I was shakin down my new tires, and I learned just how good he's become.
With nothing more than a shifter, ET Streets, Exhaust and Anti-Venom tune, he ran 11.68@118.52 on a 1.65 60ft to my 11.51@125.39 on a 1.78 The man can flat out DRIVE. I didn't even start to reel him in until well into third gear. For me to end up with a best of 11.44 and have him just .2 behind in a nearly stock car is nuts.
Watching him launch that damn thing at almost 6k, it looks like he's launching a 600rwhp car. My hats off Just wait until I figure out these tires though, and tens here I come.

I have a video of me racing my friend with a 427 from a stop. I'm all over him and ahead by about 4 cars before we hit 3rd gear. The only reason is because he has no traction. Has nothing to do with me being some incredible driver.
No offence to Holedgr, but with ET streets I'd say he's just about right.
If you have no traction and he has traction... it's very simple.

Most 427s have anough grunt to get you sideways in almost any gear at speeds well over the national speed limit. Serious torquemeisters. Traction is a real serious problem with DOT tires on these cars even with the TC/AH systems engaged and a well-calibrated right foot.

He was running in the 11's at The Fest and Beech Bend was slick at hell! He was PO'd because the late night NOS install didn't work and PJ's was!!
It was interesting getting a ride from him to get my car at the detailers and doing a buck-o-five or so on the entrance ramp curve with the streets on the back :oo:
