After lots of track time and a few bolt on mods (see sig. below), I finally got into the 11's last night at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas.
Weather conditions: Temp. 60 degrees, Baro. pressure 29.85, humidity 50%
Track conditions: Good prep
Tires: BFG DR's
My first run of the night was 12.221 @ 116.83 (60' 1.871). Launched at 3800 rpm, bogged a little. Also bumped the rev-limiter on 2nd - 3rd shift.
My second run was 12.181 @ 116.25 (60' 1.814). Launched at 4000 rpm, slight bog, and hit rev-limiter again on 2 - 3 shift So there was still room for improvement and I put it together for my third run. Smooth launch at 4500 rpm, no bog, and clean shifts at redline (6500 rpm). It felt great and I knew it was an 11 sec. run before I ever got my timesplip.
I ended the night on that run!!
My numbers:
R/T ... .173
60' ... 1.753
330 ... 4.999
1/8 ... 7.677
MPH ... 92.97
1000 ... 9.965
1/4 ... 11.892
MPH ... 117.67
Do yall think there's still room for improvement?
My best run bone stock (except borla exhast and zip-tied K&N) was 12.287.
60' was 1.958 on the F1SC tires.

Damn, I'm impressed. Basically headers, BFG's and seat time dropped you a total of .4sec. I would imagine with a little more seat time there would .2 left in it as is. But I am no expert by any means.

Nice runs! I'd say there's more left in her, but how much more depends on your capabilities, the track prep & the weather that day...I'd guess, in a perfect world, there should be a solid .3-.4 left in her...

Thanks everyone. Yall are right....seat time and practice made all the difference! Mods help a little...in moderation. Otherwise, you have to learn how to drive the car all over again from scratch. For example, there was a guy out that same night who had a 2001 w/ SC (magnuson) and cam putting down over 500 to the rear wheels. His best run was mid 12's simply because he could not put the power down w/o breaking the tires loose. Will take him lots more practice to harness all that power.
