Best 1/4 mile time??

This is the first time that I will be taking my Z to the drag strip.
I have a stock 02 Z06 and want to know what do I need to do to prep my Z before going out? I want to get the best possible 1/4 mile time.. Can anyone give me suggestions?

Check your oil and (all fluids) Make sure you have a clean air filter, check you tire presure....and go!!! Have fun racing is such a RUSH!!!

Post in the grandstand or racing section. Lower tire pressure, shift fast, dont launch too high rpms, and ask people at the track for tips. Have a blast. Your heart will be pounding when you line up for the first time.Goodluck
