Best DE tire Size for stock Zo6 rims

What have you found to be the best tire size combo and brand for the stock rims.

Been running Slicks and plan to use these for a back up set, the GSCS have done well in bone stock sizes. Just looking for a little more rubber if possible at maybe a better price. Would also use these once in awhile to go to a local track about 10 miles away and avoid having to drag another set of wheels along.

Kumho V710 275/40-17f and 315/35018r.

You can fit a 295 on the front, but for open track I'd go with the better turn in response of the 275, which fits much better on the 9.5" rim.

Hoosier 275/40x17 & 305/30x18 (properly sized race rubber for stock rims)

However I recommend:
305/30x18 on 10.5x18 Front & 315/35x17 on 11x17 Rear (faster than T1 set up) and reduces static and mid corner understeer.

I agree the 305/30-18 is a better size for the stock rear rim, but I would rather run the V710 than the current Hoosier. The Kumho sticks a little better, lasts a little longer and costs a little less. The 315 on the 10.5" rim is pushing it, but the sidewall profile isn't screwed up enough to negatively effect contact patch, it appears.
