Actually, bro, I know SnakeBitten and I realize that some of the Viper Alley guys talk pretty good smack but for the most part they're good guys and I get along with them OK. They just like to stir the pot occasionally. Most of them just do it in good fun.

No biggie, we'll get a chance to go heads up at some point then we'll see who gets braggin' rights

Same time as our fest, SB. Still won't work. Later in September or maybe early Oct? Got anything going then?

Tom...What are you expecting when you complete the 454 project??? Ever considered spraying the low end, just a 100 shot???

Currently, you are missing a WHOLE lotta torque...I love biting wannabe snake killers...they taste like chicken you know...

Hey SB, you got any experience with spraying S/C'd engines?
Would a 100 shot along with the blower put too much load on the pistons?

Don't need it myself to blow away lowly Vipes but just curious

Frog legs , snake, etc has that same flavor.

As far as I know an LS engine has not been brought out to the limits as this one I have planned out.
When I say limits I mean there is no more.
Darton http://www.darton-international.com/main_fr.htm has finally finished their larger LS sleeves which can be taken out to 4.155 bore. A 4.25 crank will not work in the LS block.
So I have to have a 4.125 crank brought out to 4.185 w/2" journals. This will give me 7.5 liters or 453.96 ci., as I said there is no where else to go. Some think it is too far and to be honest I sometimes have my doubts.

By the way I like Vipers. I pitted for AVR at the Petit Lemans in Brazelton October 2001 wearing my Z06 hat.
I have known Eric Burch for a while.
I also want the vents from the '03 Viper on my Z06.
If you know where I can get a wrecked hood to make the vent molds from let me know.

I am staying with the D1 Procharger, bringing the CR down under 8.5:1 and going for a full atmosphere of boost 14.7- 15 lbs using 2168 alloy Lunati custom built pistons that are made for the heat from boost or juice. I am also going to install Spal 6.5" fans on the back of my intercoolers to help dissipate more heat from the combustion chamber. I will not be going with any juice, that's just me. All throttle (no nipple ) no bottle.
All the #s in my sig are before the Procharger and 390 gears.
Also stock heads and goodyears even on the dyno.
I have TTS 1 5/8" headers and that is why my torque is peaking in the lower rpms but when I switch to 1 7/8" headers and full 3" exhaust that should bring me up to about 418-420 rwhp range and the heads should be done in 2 weeks which will yield another 30+ rwhp now I am at 450 or so not counting the S/C. I am hoping to pull another 75 min. from the added 100+ ci.
525 rwhp with a 15 lb boost I might see 725+ rwhp.
It might be a bomb waiting to go off but hey you only live once.
