"Run Offs Air Robbins" is the first lap of the 2004 Run Offs when Jeff Robbins tried passing Pete Looby and Bill Ziegler in the Keyhole.
"NASA Mid Ohio" are various laps of me racing the same Jeff Robbins in a tune up race at Mid Ohio in August 2004. I eventually ran a best of a 1:36.7 that weekend, which was pretty good at that time.
Gateway videos are of Subdriver and I dicing in St Loius August 1. He beat me soundly, but I had a good time.

David...Have these videos ever been posted before? I don't want to download the same video with a different file name.
Thanks! Downloading now.

Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid...John Wayne.
Si vis pacem, para bellum.
I compared your videos to subdriver's videos and can't help but notice you take unusually tight lines entering corners?
Hmmm, maybe I do. That might be the reason Brad is faster than I.

Also you hit more stuff
Hmmm, I get hit from behind in one video. I get touched by a EP Mazda in another. Then the Mustang and I bump when he doesn't see me (he said so in impound). I dunno, maybe my luck was bad in 2004. I think last year was the Chinese Year of the Monkeye, bad year for me. This year (I think) is Year of the Lion...good for me.
Thanks, sweet videos.

I actually laughed out loud at this. Gets my vote for best first post ever.
Welcome to the forum!
David,
Thanks for sharing a great bunch of videos. Although I've seen those on your big screen, I thoroughly enjoyed watching them all again. Had to grab another cup of coffee. Great way to start a morning.
Was interesting watching again the differences between us in the last hairpin going back onto the oval where you used 2nd and I used 3rd. Have you determined for sure if your car has an MN12 Z06 box?
I'd be interested in knowing how much download data your website gets from these. I've always been very hesitant to post my video's on my website as I have my website hosted by Earthlink and get huge financial penalties for exceeding a set amount of download space each month (sort of like cell phone overages). But, I recently upgraded my plan and now have 20GB of data each month. I'd like to know if you come anywhere near this.
For those that wondered why sometimes one or the other of us seemed faster, there is a lot going on out there that is hard to see on the low resolution video's. For example, on Gateway 5, David makes a great inside move on me at the end of the front straight under braking. What you probably can't see (and I believe David couldn't see either as I was in front of him) was that an oil/debris flag came out (red and yellow stripped flag). The RX-7 in front of me got very loose and I thought he was going into the tire wall at the end of the straight. I checked up big time. David was much more aggressive than me and dove inside of me for a nice pass.
For the record, I did not touch any movable or immovable objects during that race.
