CCW's & BFG's

Just bolted up my set of 12 x 17 CCW's with 315-35-17 BFG drag radials. This combo is fantastic. Test run out in front of my house, with the street tires i got tons of tire spin. Mounted these things up and WOOHOO one heck of an excellent launch. Can't wait to get to the next Corvette Challenge Event.

Thats what I thought when I tryed mine the first time. They hook alot better than the street tires, but, if you like the way those hook try the CCW's with the MT ET Streets! If I was a betting man, I would say you will own a set of ET Streets within a year.

jw02 knows! It happens to nearly everyone, but drag radials are nice to keep in the shop for Sunday afternoon drives.

Tommy, if I'm not mistaken, you have a set of both?

Why aren't you out fishing?

Great grip from the start. Look out for the high speed handling. I hated the way mine felt at any thing higher than 80 mph. Slowing the car down from 110 mph was unpleasent. INMO having to make some panic move at the end of a drag stip run, which does happen, would be very dangerous.

Not sure the 17" et streets will fit on those rims, plus you should go with the skinnies up front to make car more stable. Just my .02 if you ever consider going to et streets. I have both and still like the bfg's alot and they feel more stable than the et streets in the 1/4 mile to me. Try launching at 4500 and hold on.
