Their support is really good because they are always friendly with me and accessible, but the product itself is really badly done in my opinion. I really wish I hadnt bought it and cant recommend it to anyone.

I remember the whine too, it was a little bothersome without a helmet on but I don't remember being able to hear it with a helmet on.

If you don't like your g2x, sell it and get something else. I'm sure there are people who would buy it. Tim at Racepak is great. I've always said they have the second best GPS logger on the market.

Olitho, The refresh on some of video data overlay seems a little slow/jumpy (especially throttle position), do you know what refresh rate is?

No, off hand I don't know the refresh rate. I will have to watch the videos closer as I have never really noticed that before. I suppose it could be the sampling rate of the OBD II computer or it could even be a delay inside the Datacam2 unit before it writes to media.....

I'm pretty sure it's the refresh from the OBD2 that's causing it, but I don't know what the rate is and I've been trying to find out.

To get fast data you have to tap into the CAN network, but that's different for every manufacturer so it's difficult for the aftermarket companies to figure out without and OE help.
