Hey, isn't this the driver who posted a vid of his win at Mossport about two years ago? The vid was great. He was so patient and ate the leaders one at a time.

What series is this car going to run in?

David has been a shoestring guy racing in SCCA World Challenge on and off. He was a large source of inspiration to me getting started in SCCA T1 and is living my next dream, to participate in SCCA World Challenge.

Smook,
I have your video ready, need an address. Please drop me an email or PM.

Yes. That would be him. Mosport was his only win. Any win is fantastic for a privateer in this series though.

He plans to run in the same series as before. The Speed World Challenge GT Series. After taking last year off, he plans to start racing again later this year and then full time next season.

Thanks for the kind words. Although the series has (financially) gotten even further out of control, I am enjoying building this car, and hope to run it when I can. I hope to make Rd Atlanta next month, but there are still a lot of pieces to track down.

I should have the car back with the Cage installed on Monday, and will post more pictures as I go. I still have lots of video clips on the site, and if anyone would like, I can always re-post the longer clips. SPEED "asked" us not to post entire races online, but I have them hidden away for my fans.

Nice site and good luck!!! Love the underdog.

Two things freaked me out though, the A-pillar is glued to the frame?
Also the heater core engine out thing.

The A-pillar (aluminum) is bolted and glued to the steel frame. We've now cut almost all of it out, but I was hoping to get it out in one piece.

I'm sure the heater core could be removed, but don't ask me to do it. That was the worse night I've had in the shop in a LOOOONNNNNGGGG time!

I vote for the longer vids to be reposted - or, can you pm me the links?

Are you planning any VIR trips to shake out the new car? Good luck this season!

Great web site! I especially enjoyed the video of Road Atlanta since I've been around it a couple of times...not that fast though.
