DE Event at VIR- Dec 6 and 7

This is an Audi club event. It will be my 4th DE event with them. They are first class in every way and VIR is spectacular.

I highly recommend going. Visit the following for registration.

http://www.audicarclubna.org/r/potom....html#December

See you there.

You have to join the Audi club before you can drive in one of their events because of their insurance coverage, right?

Yeah it's an extra $40.00. So the total for the weekend is $315.00 for two full days of driving!

Cool! It appears this DE os going to be huge. I have been the only vette in my other three events and sorta the guy to beat. This time will be different and interesting. I love VIR!

See ya there.

Eric, I thought I was getting the XPs?

Anyway, I was *also* supposed to be taking their instructor clinic on Dec. 5 but since I have not yet driven a car since my accident on 10/21, I won't be there

Have fun.

Pretty good event... although a Z06 did go off in the advanced group and banged up the car pretty bad... I couldn't remember his name.. but if he is on here, I'll let him post details....

This was my first instructor session and I must say I had a fast learning student... I was grateful for that... he did everything I asked him to and by the end of the 2nd day he had almost all the lines correct! I also met another Z06 owner w/ the plates AU ENGL (Golden Angel) .. really nice guy.. nice meeting you!

Brian.. you can have the XPs... free w/ rotor purchase

Mag,

I couldn't get out of my driveway on Friday. Damn, sounds like I missed a good time. Hope the Z driver wasn't hurt. There were a couple of members going down, but I don't know who made it and who didn't. It seems there is one damaged car at each event???????????

See ya there in the Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Rosso.. sorry I didnt get to meet you in person! IT was a great event after Friday... there were quite a few offs on Friday w/ the Instructors and Sat morning's Instructor group (me included)... there were a couple C4 guys there too... I spoke to the gentleman with the yellow C5, and he said there were supposed to be a couple T1 Spec C5s out there.... I guess if you didn't leave on Thrsday... the conditions were not optimal for a RWD car on performance tires to leave Friday

Redshift... LOL. Elloiot did come in and rub his cold nose on me Was that a bonus?

I was driving in the instructor group in the yellow rx7 and had a great time. I did get a flat in the left rear which made for a couple of interesting corners.

The driver of the z06 was fine but the car was totaled. He owns a dealer so I doubt he is sweating it.

I'm seriously considering a z06 for my next car so I frequent this forum. If one of you guys decide to upgrade to the c6 and have a nice track prepped z06 please let me know

FRITZ! Good to see ya... I was in the black E36 M3 that was playing with you... great driving out there!

A Z06 would be an awesome car to track.... I miss that massive torque coming out of oak tree... but w/ the E36, Ive learned to carry more speed and be smoother which has hlped my driving a LOT!
