The BFG Comp TA's are the same from wherever. Used them before I went with ET's and liked them a lot.
Both Tire Rack and Tires.com should have very competetive prices.

One thing you might do though is wait just a bit. They only come in 17" right now but I read a post the other day from some vendor here (?, help me out guys) that is going to get DR's in 18" so your can use your oem rims if you want.

I'm Running BFG DR 315.35.17

I recently bought my 2d set of these great tires for my 02. First set made it through 115 passes or so. Tire Rack price on the second set was $342 delivered to my door.

I run them on CCW wheels 12" wide x 17" tall. I'm not reluctant to run non-stock wheels at the track. The CCWs are wider than the Z06s (front or rears), giving a better contact patch, and cost about the same.

I plan to stay away from ET Streets...out of an abundance of caution for protecting the drive-train from breakage.

If having all the wheels match is important to you, you can

(1) wait for 18" DR in the right height to make it to market...or

(2) run 315 DRs on Z06 front wheels

Thanks for the info, I already have ZR1 replicas that I took off my 99 SS that have dunlop super sport 8000 315s on them and they fit well on my Z06, but They do not hook as well as I would like.

The BFG DR hook very well and much better than what you are running now. Softer side-wall and softer rubber on the tread that gets sticky when heated by a burn-out.

With technique and some practice, the BFGs will deliver consistent 1.7X 60 footers on a decent track and low 1.7s on a well prepped track.

I took Ranger's advice and am running the same setup. Doing no real burnout ( lack of experience), I run low 1.8's on a good track.

Those are some nice looking brake have on your car Gary. I asked for some BFGs for X-Mas so if I dont get them then I will buy them shortly after. The reason I asked if their were different ones is because Discount Tire has them for like twice the price.

I have Brembo Brakes and I am just finding out that there are no tires currently available for the drag strip that will fit my car. Choices are to go back to stock brakes on the rear or to wait for an 18" drag radial. I guess I will be waiting for April because I am not gonna take off the Brembos.

since getting these 17x11 ZR1 rims and the 315/35s bfgs, I've run 11.8 or better about 9 times out of the last 12 runs. My best 60ft is 1.653, launching from 5800rpms, they hook awesome.
