Happened to me last night at KCIR. First run of the night for me and just as I launched on the green I hear a huge bang from the Pro-Stocker in the lane next to me. I still finished the run at 10.13 but I can't tell you how hard it is to not turn your head and look at what the hell is going on when you hear a loud Booooom.
Have you every been at the track and just as you are launching, the car in the next lane blows up

Really though, i was there when that car went bang, wouldve been distracting if i were tryin to launch next to all that racket!

Damn Mike, way to keep your composure. I had a guy blow the axle off at the line next to me and didn't even notice, but an explosion would probably make me soil my shorts a bit!
Those Beachbend videos are excellent. Alot of fast cars on an iffy track.
