Are dragradials a good idea...?

My last run at the strip i did horribly because i was spinning through 1st and all of 2nd with my mps tires, i was thinking of getting a pair of street dragradials but ive heard that it might break something if i use sticky tires. what should i do, is getting some sticky tires a good idea, will it noticably help my problem on the strip, and if so which ones are recomended and what sizes.

get them. it'll make a big difference. it probably wont break. mine didn't

First time at the track I my best time was 12.4 @ 115 mph and that was spinning half way down the track.

Drag radials are next on my list.

Whenever you take the car down the strip you risk breaking something. If drag racing the car is a big part of what you want to do with the car, then I suggest that you start to put together a plan to make the car more drag race ready.

You should talk to some of the hardcore racers here, and find out what components need to be upgraded to minimize what can break, and then go about modifying your car to add these components.

Ask some questions in the Racing forum, I am sure you will get a lot of great information.
