Durastop Ceramics okay for autoX?

I have durastops for street use and do couple of DEs a year. I will swap out the ceramics for DEs, but can I run the autoX with ceramics? the runs are less than a minute, with some aggreesive braking...certainly not like track...
What do you think? I run about 15 autox events per year...so I would prefer to swap brakes only when needed...
thanks.

I would think that the GM Ceramics pads would NOT be adequate for autocrossing. They don't stand up well to repititive hard stop's on the street so I couldn't imagine trying to autocross with them. I run these on the street for the low dust properties and switch rotors/pads for HPDE's.

I'm just guessing about this, but it seems that the ceramic pads act like an insulator and build heat in the rotors.

They actually desipate heat pretty well , but have no reall bite to the stopping power. Try Hawk HPS HP plus, Z06 pads etc. If you want stopping power go to deal with the dust.
