Etown Saturday pm session 4/9/05

I'm gonna head over to etown with a few other vettes for a couple of passes. Gonna bring the video camera if anyone wants to be filmed.

Etown was relatively empty Saturday evening. Could have made 10 passes. Hadn't run the car for a long time since the tranny was fixed and the mainshaft broke my last time out on my first attempt. Goal to to run a full pass without breaking so I set the et streets to 14 psi (normally 10psi) and planned to shift at 6400 and do a shake down.
Temp 65,Da 800, sunny, NE wind 10-15, track prep fair.
Came out at 5000 rpms(usually higher).
First run was 11.25 on a 1.55 60'. I was very pleased.
2nd run 11.10 on a 1.51 60' (13psi) 5200 rpms
3rd run missed 3rd.
4th run lined up with my buddy h/c c5, got as far as the water box and the car in front of us wrecked so it never happened. Plan was to push it hard and powershift. Oh well, didn't break.
All in all a great day. Got to help out a few people shave time off their bests.
