First EFCC Floida Race this Sat!!

The season opener is this Sat at Bradenton!!! Ignore the weather report....it dosen't rain till 4 pm or later....and we will be done by then!

Every racer will be assigned a permanent (for the year at least...the top 5 or so will change each year to reflect how you finished the prior year.) CC# to put on your tech card. See Dan Warren for your number at the track.

Hope to see a bunch of Z06's running in this series for 2004!! Great drag racing time!

Mother nature has forced a continuation of this event next month. We qualified and got first round of eliminations before they posponed the rest of the event. We will start early next month and pick-up where we left off, which is second round. New best today for me in my coupe, 12.48 @ 109.3

Hey Les....yup....Keith was tough all day...he was dialing 9.8 on the motor only and running it time after time...he knocked himself out with a 4.99 red light in the semi's...he waltzed in the Quick 8 to an 8.80 win using only one stage of the two stage shot he has now...Paul Major did a heck of a job to even come close with a 422 c.i. vs. Keith's 540 c.i. motor....I'm off to Bradenton early tomorrow to race in the Super Chevy Show all weekend...I hope not to go out one round before the payouts start like I did last weekend...

It was a great day for the racers who participate in the Ecklers Florida Corvette Challenge!!!!...Craig Gingrich won the Street DOT Class with his C4 taking home $1000.00.....Emily Lewis won the Pro Bracket Class in her Super Comp dragster and pocketed $3000.00...

Brian Delaney went to the final 3 racers and lost in the semi's with a .497 red light...sooooo close!....Rob Bassler went to the quarter finals with his beautiful blue 436 stroker C5....

I don't know how many racers there were in each class but you had to go 7 or 8 rounds to win...way to go...
