Sign up time for you South Florida owners who want to race. New series being run at the BRADENTON RACEWAY starts on the 28th of September. Year round points racing. New Jersey has it, California has it and, now WE HAVE IT!!!!!

Good luck with the series... Wow, this should be great... We have a group from Maryland that runs in the CCC at E-Town NJ..

I'll tell those who are thinking about it.. Go Just Do It.. Lots of fun and you meet a group of great people.

Lots of tips on why, how, and when....

With Edgar on the east, Gary Brown on the west, and you in the south, we will need one more group in the midwest...

Then it's the Nationals, some place in the middle.....Top 20 cars from each group..

Sounds good to me.....

Ernie Tracy Lewis is the founder of our series here in Florida. Nationals sounds like a great idea.

We are really looking forward to this. So far we have 23 Corvettes committed to running so, it should work out real well.

Any that have never run or bracket raced just show up and ask for Tracy or Mean Green and we will be glad to give you tips and free instruction on "how to bracket race"!! The important thing is to get vettes to the track. We have the best US built production performance cars in the world, so let's have fun with them! (Z06's all need helmets since they all run 12's or better!!!

I went up to E-Town Saturday for the Challenge. It was hot as H--- and I had a hard time trying to figure out the starting line.. Well anyway, you can listen to the track anouncer on FM.. Man you guys are on the the list... They were saying how E-Town was the start, now they have the west coast, now they have it in Florida..
When you have anywhere between 65 to 85 Vettes show up, it gets them going, So any of you guys out there in FL.. get with Tracy and Bob and the rest and show up... It is great fun...

Thanks Ernie..... We are really hoping for a good turnout. Lots of great Corvettes down here. Racing all year long with the best cars and the best owners.

Thanks for the support Ernie! Can we count on a few Z06's to show up this Sat the 28th? We will gladly give instruction to first timers and want to have as many vettes of all years show up for this event...after all, this forum is sponsoring a portion of this first event!! We need at least one competitor to represent the Z06vette.com group!

I wish you guys were a little closer or I would join in, but towing from Maryland to NJ to run that one, it would be a little hard to make the Florida one.. LOL

Wow, that sounds fantastic. Count me in for the next one. I have to fly to California Saturday otherwise I would be there. Please keep me updated on when the next event will be and I will bring both cars over. I grew up in Bradenton about 9 miles from the track. Good luck with the event, if you get bored October 11th, 12th, and 13th come to World Street Finals in Orlando.

Ernie....you can come down for the November one...or the Feb race....good excuse to bring the vette to Warm Weather!!!

Bad64, see you Then!!! Good to have some experianced racers on hand to help the newbies. We will be at the IHRA division finals the 9th-13th so we will miss Orlando. (we finished 2nd in our class for the year there though! ...red-lit in the finals or Emily would have been track champ in jr pro.)

We want to thank Z06vette.com for their generous contribution of covering the trophy's and plaques for the first event! We had 19 participants and app 6-8 vette spectators! Even a couple of Z06's made it!!!

I went 9/28/02 to Bradenton had a great time met alot of great Corvette people and ran 02 Z 5000mi BONE STOCK 12.782 1/4mi @ 109.31mph. 95 degrees hot! I encourage all Vette owners to come to the next event.

Scary Fast...... I was wondering who had the Black Z06. I had the Silver 01 Coupe. Way too hot out there however we had a great time. My times were way off although I made 8 runs (between test and race) and all were within 3/100. 13.01 was all I could get. Made it to the third round. Lost to Mike the overall winner in his C4. Next month cool weather mid 12's

. We had the Corvette Connection trailer on the other side of the track. Did you here the announcements about Z06 vette. com being the series first sponsor?

Maybe we can get a group together next month to go on Fri. night and stay at the hotel in Bradenton.

Did you red light on the final run? Yes I head the announcements about Z06VETTE.COM Next time I go I will leave Fri and stay over also as I live in Hollywood. Next time I go I will do some more sociallzing, We got there late and it was hectic at first. Can't wait till it cools down some, I would think maybe 12.4-12.3 I hope. Lets work on cruising over together next time, I should be able to bring 5 maybe 6 other Vettes. I had a great time so did the other guys that went. Keep in touch.
