George, nice to meet you Wednesday night!!

I was at E-Town this past Wednesday night with my good friend Tommy. We met a guy named George from NJ with a 2007 LeMans Blue Z06. What a beauty of a car! He said he was a member here and CF. I think he made a total of 5 passes. All he had done to it was a set of Hoosier tires mounted on the stock competition gray 19" rear wheels. His car turned out very respectable numbers. Maybe he will reply and say his times, I dont want to spoil it for him. Mike

Was Etown crowded?
If I got there say at like 6:30-7:00, how many passes could I get in before it fills up w/ Ricers?
I haven't been there on a Wednesday in forever, & I live less then 10 minutes away!

I wouldnt say it was crowded, but it was a very good turnout. Sometimes its packed with ricers, and sometimes not, this time it wasnt all that bad. We got there fairly early too. I like Wednesday nights cause they allow the unmuffled guys to run until 10pm and you get to see some sick cars run. If I had to guess, I would think more ricer guys go on Friday nights...You should go more often! Mike

We were there again yesterday the 21st for the whole day, was quite a nice turnout. George was there again with the 07 LB Z06. He must have done a few things to the car since the last time we saw him there, cause on his final pass of the day, even though they told him dont go under 11.50, he ran a 10.67 LOL! I noticed he had 17" Corvette ZR1 wheels on the back with a much better tire than last time. Surprising the 17" wheel fits the new Z, considering the brakes and calipers are bigger, good to know right?

Anyway, we also saw RobZ there, but didnt get a chance to really say hello to him cause he was racing. We did stop and talk to Doug and Chris though from ECS, very nice guys, and we saw the silver twin turbo C6 Z06 parked out in the lot. I also got to meet Dave and Julio from Cartek, very nice guys as well. All in all, a nice event, and met some new people. Mike

Dang!!! A 10.67!!! He has to have modded his C6Z06 to run that kind of time.
