The Great Lakes High Speed Series for Corvettes will hold its first event at Gingerman Raceway on April 15-17, 2005. Open to Corvettes, street cars and race cars. On April 15, 2005, a driving school will be offered. Professional road racer, Danny Kellermeyer, will be the chief instructor. The school will include a classroom session, on-track with ride-in instructor practice sessions, turn-in, apex, track-out practice sessions, heel and toe downshifting practice drills, and more. For experienced drivers that do not wish to take the school, morning and afternoon test and tune practice sessions will be offered all three days. Time Trials will be offered Saturday and Sunday between the test and tune sessions. Must have previous track experience to participate in the Time Trials. Participation in the Friday driving school is enough to compete in the Time Trials. All events for three days for only $375.00. All events for three days, without the drivers school, for only $325.00. We have registered Corvettes from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Only three weeks left before the event.
