I won a 'come from behind' drag race tonight against an older Mopar product making lots of noise. I had to really watch the tach, I couldn't hear a thing due to the open headers on the Mopar. Anyway, he got the hole shot, but the LS6 pulled hard in third gear, and I ended up 2 tenths ahead and 7 mph faster at the end of the 1/4 mile. An exciting race, so much fun.

My point is that I really love third gear in these cars, truly amazing, and I only have a stock '01. Now, off to the auto-cross on Sunday.

Hey pmontelo, looks like WE are in a post race, this one makes us even for the next few seconds.
