Introducing heads-up drag racing for Corvettes

As many of you know, we in New Jersey have enjoyed the East Coast Supercharging Corvette Challenge Drag Racing Series for five full seasons. The Quick 4 heads-up portion of this series is now growing.

We are now proud to announce The Vette Doctors Pro 8 Challenge
It will be heads-up racing for the EIGHT quickest qualifiers at four of our 11 bracket races this year.

Racing is open to ALL Corvettes who want to race heads-up regardless of where you live (there are a few rule, i.e. no electronics or all-out race cars). You simply sign up for points ($30 and points are awarded for bracket races only) and come out to the Corvette Challenge and race ($25 per event). The eight quickest cars and two alternates will be advised of their qualifying positions (in fact, we will even place "the bump spot" on the board when you qualify just like the pros).

Depending on who shows up to race, you may see the bump spot in the low 11s but last year we had a full 10 second field in our only 8 car field at the end of the season.

Spectators are welcome and for a mere $10 per person admission. You get to see the Pro 8 Challenge and the full bracket race that last year featured 101 Corvettes at its highest turnout.

You cannot ask for more fun than that for $10!!!!

The Pro 8 Challenge is on a "Pro" tree and is head-up!!!

The Vette Doctors Pro 8 Challenge dates are:

April 3, June 26, September 4 and October 23 (all Saturdays)

Full 11 date bracket race schedule is available at www.corvettechallenge.info for all who don't want to race heads-up (we have had Vettes running as high as 17 seconds so don't be shy)

Races are held at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ and start at 9 AM. www.racewaypark.com

Feel free to email, IM or post any questions about the series here.
