Lamborghini "ZO6D"
Today I'm drivng to a friends house with my son. when in the rear view mirror I see something silver and coming up fast in the left lane...As it gets closer, I recognize what it is and say one word to my 19 yer old...COUNTACH !!!
I really thought that I would get a chance to race a Viper long before I got to race a Lamborghini VT...
As he hauls ass by me on the left, traffic is reasonably thick but going along at a 75 or 80 mph pace so I get in behind and wait for about 4 miles until we get a clear spot...I can see the lane to the right clearing up ahead so I get into 3rd and wait for his lane change...He changes lanes ahead of me of course and as I see his rear end squat a little I'm anxious to hit it as I finally get over after a hard lane change at about 90 and get after him...He is about 6 to 7 cars in front of me when I get it and we're off...I'm so excited to racing a Lamborghini VT that I hit the rev limiter 5 or 6 times in 3rd before I grab 4th and then the fun begins...I grab 4th and really start to pull up on this guy untile we both have to back off for traffic...I pull up next to him and his buddy and he gives me a thumbs off...I immediatley motion to do it again side by side and he oblidges and hits it as I hit mine...I jump a car in 3rd from about 85 and then we have to slow down again for traffic...I then pull over to the right as I have missed my off ramp by only 3 and get off...As he passes me, they both give me a thumbs up and he cruises off...
The strange and somewhat humorous thing was that there were 5 or 6 cars trying to keep pace when I was on his bumper and trying to find a clearing to get it on...I guess they wanted to see who was going to win because it was obvious we were going to race...Goooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllll l...USA
