Traction control is off... I still ran a 12.6 (with a 2.0 60') with the cutout.
Its odd... its kinda like it bogs, but really badly, but I've already launched and gone about 20 feet. The car pulls very hard through all the other gears, I've had it up at 170mph and it pulled through all the gears without a hickup....
I'm kinda confused by this, 1st gear hard launch on a sticky track cutout... I thought it had something to do with axle hop (I don't get much), but even on runs without axle hop it still does this.
Originally posted by PowerShifter I have experienced it, I raise the launch rpm next run, even then some times it feels a little bog but doesen't show on the time slip. Ric
Ahh... so it is Monster Bog!!! I was launching at 3K... and I wasn't slipping as much as I guess I should have (I get excited, forget some of what I try to convince myself of when running). Maybe I will try from 3200, then 3500 etc until it stops doing it.

i picked up 4 10ths just with this issue alone...............
Really???
I had bad wheel hop coming out of the water box at the track (didn't engage any algorithm, so I didn't think it had one).
Does LS1Edit allow one to turn off both of these evil features???
It truly sounds like bog. But make sure your battery is secure JIC.
Since it's probably bog, you can do three things:
Slip the clutch outta the hole. Not advisable with LS6 clutches.
Increase tire pressure. Experiment with higher pressures.
Or my favorite, increase launch RPM. I've only had a handful of Z06 passes, but it seems to hold 4500 pretty good. I doubt if the clutch will take it forever though.
