Temperature was a cooking 92 degress with high humidity. Tires were Nitto DR's, set at 28 psi cold temperature before heading to the track, I never dropped pressure at the track.
Are these decent times/mph considering the heat? If I can learn to do a 1.8 or so sixty like I've seen people do with DR's, what could I expect to gain?

You need to get the launch down. I got 2.0's on the stock F1's, and I got 1.8's on Nitto R2's (not drag radials). If you are running drag radials you definatly need to drop the pressure to at least 18 psi and go down from there.

28 lbs.. ??? Man you need to drop that down a tad...start off with 18 and go down.. Do a good burn out to get them hot then after that just haze them where you just see some smoke..
about 4 to 4500 and ease out the clutch. you should get some 1.8's out of them..
Good luck,, But I will say this first time out It's ok.. not trying to knock you down...

Mikey...I had a set of Nitto DR's and luved them. Did a 11.98@118 with my bolt on 02Z06. Had a 1.79 short time. Drop the air pressure down to 17 and heat them babies up! They luv heat and you will be amazed at the way they hook.
After doing more research on this, it does seem that my mph is very low for the rwhp I'm putting down. Anyone else have any feedback on that? Looks like I should be running 125mph or so.
Ditto that. Its either bad driving (and no offence intended, I suck too), or a seriously underperforming motor. First off, fix the tranny and slap it on the dyno.
