I was getting 60-fts in the mid 1.8s no matter how I launched. I've been trying to dump the clutch between 3000 and 4000 to get a bit of wheel spin. Should I be going lower on tire pressure?
My best trap speed was 115.31. It seems that the 3-4 shift has a big effect on trap speed, but I'm not sure if I need to shift earlier or later. I usually try to shift at 6600-6700 into 4th.
Only 4 weeks left this year. I think I can find another tenth. Any tips?

Good time...I'm guessing that your car is pretty much stock.

You want to shift as close to the limiter as possible without hitting it. If you don't hit it once in a while then your not shifting high enough my .02
Im running similar times you are. Your losing it on the launch. I would drop the tire pressure to 14-15psi. Depending on the track you should be in the low 1.7 range with an occasional 1.6x. The rest of your run seems great. With a 1.6x your in the 11's. Im lifting the clutch at around 4500 rpms and getting consistent 1.7x launches. Searching for 11 myself. Just a beginner here.

So I can drop the pressure as low as 14psi? I didn't know what the low limit was. I'll probably try 15psi next time I go out and see if that's an improvement.
Earlier this summer I ran my 03 z with 12 lbs in the ET streets and ran a 1.7x 60 ft time. I left the line at 3500 RPM and shifted at 6000 RPM to net a 12.31 ET (car is stock except the wheels and tires). 1.7x 60 ft times are typical with this setup, but beware of breaking the rear end.
