new best tonight! 11.748 !!

HRP was in excellent shape tonight and I finally got a good launch. Hammered 3 clean shifts and proceeded to the time shack:

60ft..... 1.752
330..... 4.962
1/8...... 7.593
mph.... 94.75
1000... 9.845
1/4..... 11.748
mph.... 116.99

2 tenths better than my previous 11.94 best. I made 4 runs, in order (12.01, 11.93, 11.74, 11.85). Got booted by tech after the 11.85.

Mods in sig and tires were 275/40 BFGs

Wow, what a nice 45 mile drive home I had...

unbelievable!!

i dont understand how you guys that arent heavily modded can run times like yuo do in the Z06. Wanna teach me how to drive?

I have a hard time putting the gas pedal 1/4 way down to the ground without having my car going sideways.

you guys are amazing.

Great times BBU...Why are you using the smaller radials?...My wheels and tires are on the way...Hope I can get into the 11's myself soon...No hook out here with F1"s...

thanks everyone

Greg, the only reason is they were cheap (or, er, I was cheap ) . I got the rims for $30 ea and the drag radials were around $150.

I recently bought some 17X11 ZR1 with 315/35 BFGs mounted. They just haven't arrived yet.

I'm hoping to maybe dip a high 1.6 with the new setup.

Hey BLU-BY-U,

Does this set up just bolt right on, or do you have to modify/or remove the rear brake ducts? Do the ZR-1 wheels fit perfectly on the Z06?

Thanks.

Good work. WeatherGuy had posted that Sunday was the night to go to the track. DA was supposed to dip into the -600s. It was REALLY cold last night.

I had the car ready to go, but the motor came apart in my truck. I was down at the machine shop until late getting it apart. After that, I didn't feel like going back to the shop to get teh car ready for the track. Sounds like I should have though...

Congrats...
