i know i know its not a 10 yet but im getting there....

the D.A. was -250 here is how it went down 60 ft.....1.45

as you can tell i cant wait for the air to get even better...

also a new personal best 60 ft.... 1.45
i knew something went well cause my helmet felt like it slammed into my roll bar when i launch it.....lol

ill try to get this time slip scanned in by julio....in the next few days

Wow!! Great #'s You're so close to the 10's

What sort of safety additions will you need once you break thru? 6 point roll bar? Anything else?

I'm debating on the ET's or BFG drag radials as I can't seem to hook up....I know the ET's will stick better, but what about breaking the right output shaft? You got the BPP's on your Z?

I was thinking the BFG's will still be a fuse for safety, but someone told me they didn't help him much at all....maybe a tenth.

What do you think?

01zee06......do the et streets they hook much better than bfgs

i also think the ets are easier on the output shaft because they wrinkle and handle the shock of launching better

i have snapped a hardened output shaft already as well as an what goes on the output shaft i guess you call it a spline?
or axle??

anyway when your launching at 5-6k rpm..... bad things can happen......

i think the way im launching now is workin better

im slipping the clutch a little more , thanks to cartek's clutch it keeps taking all the abuse i can throw at it.....

i have a 5 pt roll bar now i dont think i have to change it till im in the 9's

Where did you get your roll bar brent? I cant seem to find anything NHRA approved for the Z.

mine is a drm. with a custon swing out.....

however now wolf makes a 5 point bolt in that the hottest set up now for only 500-600.......

CARTEK X Package -- hmmm. No I would rather spend 7K and run the same E.T.'s with my H/C package. Congrats on those times-- it must be one hec of a trip down the track. I'm extremely jealous!

brent, Congrats! Your showing us what a good driver can do. Cartek put's out a grate package. Hopefully you and some of the other NJ runners can make it up to New England Dragway for the Vette-Viper shoot out. Greg(TTZ06) will be there,and he talked to John L and he will be there with a couple of other LPE cars, hopefully we will see an 8.xx. Sunday OCT 13 is the date. Track maneger is giveing us a draged and sprayed fully preped track!! Ric
