We had a great time at the ecs cc yesterday
my best pass of the day was 10.19@135 mph
with a 1.46 60 ft
this is a cartek built 427 stroker motor no power adders here
this car was also driven to and from the track
"no trailor queen"
the track was slippery all day and the air was +300 da
i didnt get to the track till 12 noon and had only 1 shot to qualify for the pro 8
so i had to drive like i stole it!!! the bump stop was 10.31 till i got near the start ,then 10.2x
this cars best bfore sat. was 10.50 so the pressure was on
i lined up with the big dog from ft myers florida
expecting to get smoked...
he left with a 1.26 60 ft got really loose at the 330 and almost right in my lane
some how i managed to stay in it and qualify...i was pumped...needless to say with that and a new personal best!!!
i want to thank cartek and all the guys for helping with the car..
look forward to seeing some better #s soon after a little more seat time in this new set-up...
