New personal best yesterday

AFter all of our winter misery when had over the weekend, I had to get out of the house. Got down to the track and the weather was in the low 50s and party cloudy.

Once I beat my previous best on the first pass, I know it was going to be a good day. This was my first time to the trackafter getting the headers and x-pipe installed. I was almost 3 tenths and 3 mph faster.

My new best is a 12.09@ 117.8mph

My buddy Scott went down in his 02 and did a 12.01 @ 118 and a 12.1 @ 120 with only a S2 and Vararam..

I had 1.9 sixty foot runs on each of my runs that was under a 12.2. My buddy did a 1.8 sixty foot on his 12.01 run I believe. This was all done on street tires..

good job . if you would of had stickier tires like drag radials or et streets you would of done 11.89 or better easily.

proof again that it comes down to driver seat time and capabilities not just buying every bolt on and expecting your et's to drop considerably
