New Race Wheels Available

Team Dynamics has released new race wheels to fit the Corvette:
Pro 1.2 model.

18x10 F, 55mm offset, 26 #'s
18x12 R, 65mm offset, 29 #'s

Seem pretty heavy to me.

SSR has expanded their Comp H line
10.5x18 19.5 #'s
11x18 20 #'s
13x18 21 #'s
10x19 21.5 #'s
10.5x19 22 #'s

OZ has upgraded and lightened the SuperLeggera called the UltraLeggera; based on the C6R wheel & F1 development it is 40% lighter than previous castings, awaiting the appropriate sizes.

I still recommend CCW, Kodiak or Circle Wheels for relatively low cost, strong & light race wheel Their weights are comparable to the SSR's and quality is better.

For a slightly higher cost and lighter wheel I recommend Jongbloed's Magnesium hub with Aluminum barrels and OZ's & BBS a step above those.

Has anyone solved the TPMS/computer defang problem with racing wheels and tires? All of this is a whack if this has not been fixed, it seems to me.

Stopped in to see John Purner @ CCW when we were down for the Rolex 24. His 1-piece wheels were on the Hauser/Dubler/Seiler Z06 #48 in the 24...

We currently have his 3-piece on the Cancer Corvette...
