[Z06CA]

Ran at Sacramento last night and finally got a decent time. First run was a 12.8 @ 111. Second run:


60ft 2.077

ET: 12.545

MPH: 112.878


I was forutunate to have run in cooler weather as my last run was around 11:00pm.

Why is mph low? I read about other Z06's at Sac running in 114-117 range? I am bone stock.

I can't say exactly why your trap speed is "low."

12.54 on a 2.07 60' is quite respectable.

But assuming consistent air density, I find the my trap speed is sensitive to the rpm at the shift to 4th and how strong a shift I make.

I try to make the shift very close to or at 6500 indicated (but staying off the limiter) and make that shift very fast and strong.

I had similar times in similar weather a week and a half ago at Sac Raceway.

I had also had two 12.7's @ 116 as well, with really crappy 60's. I think you should be making more MPH as Sac is a fast track. My problem is since I tuned the car, anytime I go full throttle in 1st at any speed it breaks the tires loose and spins. I ended up running 1st gear out at half throttle them hammering it in 2nd.
