NHRA Rules

NHRA rules require that any car that is quicker in the 1/4 mile than 12.99 requires a drive shaft safety loop. Is that incorporated into the chassis design on the Z06? If not where do we find one?

I guess that's a good safety feature if the car had a driveshaft.

C5's do not have "conventional' drivelines. The transmission is mounted in the rear, not directly behind the engine.

I have absolutely no qualifications to speak about the NHRA Rules but I'd guess there was some sort of provision for our cars.

"our" car have enclosed pilot shaft, it passes NHRA rule. There are so "other" questions that could be raised if you read the rule book closely. Woulden't be productive to "talk" about them on an open fourm. Ric
