a 2003 Stock Black Z06 with a Vararam and computer tune..... did a 11.68 @ 119 MPH this past weekend at ATCO raceway!

AMAZING!

The dude was powershifting from 2-3-4 but used the clutch from 1-2.

I smelled plenty of clutch under the hood.... he launched at 4500 RPM!!!!

WOW!!!

The best I did with my 2002 QS Z06 was 12.72 @ 113.

Is that respectable?

yes...that is a respectable time. When you are in the 12's with a stock car, then it is very respectable. Just think back in the heyday of musclecars when breaking into the 13's was respectable. Those cars had big inch motors and were set up to go the 1/4 mile! So a 12.72 is very respectable!!

Sounds like a witness of the vetteprofessor's run. Maybe that was a different track??
Anyway, that's respectful. You'll get better and better too. The more you practice. Have fun, it's addicting. The road courses are next for me. Had fun this summer at VIR with Justin, so I'll get some seat time on the twisties.

Say there Mark, when do we get the "Z06 Fest Member" added to our ID's. Just wondering?? Thanks bud.
