I just dyno'd my car after installing FLPs. At the big end, all I picked up was approx. 10 horsepower.
That being said, the gain was constant throughout the powerband and at some points, approx. 4-5K rpm, the horsepower increase was close to 15.
BTW, I am not running cats and used LS1 Edit to toggly off the the rear O2s.
That gives me 383 rwhp before doing anything with the timing, air/fuel mixture, etc. Up 30 from my stock rwhp of 354.
Looks like I might have to buy some rear exhaust to get to my 400-405 rwhp goal. I still think I can reach my goal without nitrous, without a blower, without a turbo, without a cam, and without heads.
I'll keep you posted

Silver, did you drive it around at all after the header install to allow for a PCM relearn? I know you did the edit, but I'm still not convinced that some drive time isn't required to get the most horsies out of an exhaust mod... jmho.
I installed the FLPs, and drove around for a couple of weeks. However, I then put some NGK TR55s in, removed my cags defeat and fan controlller, and uploaded a new LS1 edit file that eliminated cags and changed the fan temps. I drove to work the next day and drove from work to the dyno shop.
Soooo, after uploading the LS1 edit file, I did not drive much before dynoing the car. Do you think I would see more ponies if I drove it around another week or two and then re-dynoed?
I tend to agree with these guys, Silver. Be sure and do your wideband scan when you do the dyno to adjust your A/F ratio with the edit.
Maybe you already did that and didn't mention it?
I prefer to do a mod, drive it 50 miles and then dyno and scan followed by the edit. Don't know why, I've just had more success that way
Re: LS1 Edit, the first thing I did with it was toggle off the rear cats to get rid of the check engine light.
After I removed the $10 cags defeat and the Breathless fan controller, I used LS1 Edit to lower the fan temps and to disable cags.
Before I did any air/fuel editing, I wanted to find out how much horsepower I got from the FLPs. That way, I would not attribute gains made from LS1 Edit to the FLPs, or visa versa.
I bought Auto Tap and have been logging some part-throttle driving time. A friend of mine is going to show me how to edit those parameters before this weekend. This weekend, my car goes on Mike Morgan's dyno (the one with the wideband O2). After we get those readings, we will edit the WOT parameters and re-dyno ( I don't doubt that I can pick up another 10 hp or more with the LS1 Edit tuning).
Re: Other mods, I have a ASP pulley, ported t-body (by Halltech), coolant bypass, Vortex Rammer, and power duct.
BTW, I just purchased a Corsa Titanium Street system - I am determined to see the 400-405 hp.
SS,
I think 10.....and a tad more..esp across the band, is great.....
Esp the extra TQ pick up.........
I see 400 in your NEAR future with just some minor tuning..

Headers do throw the A/F ratio off a bit, which is why the tuning is needed to see the full benefits of the headers.
I think you are right. I ran AutoTap and my long term fuel trims indicate I am running lean. My plugs also looked pretty white. I did an across the board increase to the MAF of 110% and the car now appears to be running richer. I also zero'd my torque management while I was in there.
I'll find out tomorrow with the wideband dyno pulls if my changes helped.
