Penske SA Preliminary Review

I say preliminary because I was being cheap and ran on the stock F1's as they had one mroe weekend in them. The Toyo Ra1's or Michlelin Cup tires are going on shortly.

The car feels stiff as a rock now in normal driving and on track. Now Road Atlanta is rougher than most tracks these days so should be better at VIR.
Brake dive issue seems noticeably improved and rear feels much more planted under braking.
Body roll is significantly reduced, In fact tire wear showed it didn't roll as much on it's side also.
Will be really able to see full impact once a even semi-race tire goes on.

Bottom Line- Feels almost like you changed shocks, spings, and sway bars all with one mod.

On street tires though it feels slower as car is just to stiff and much for stock tire.

Given time you will find that you can tune for street/track and the tires that you are running at the time. Try to keep a log, it will make judging setting easer over time.
