Another great ride. Hope the change to a Viper doesn't mean you will forsake us on this site. I have always loved the looks of the Viper but have been to cheap to pony up plus I feel the Vette is a better all around driver. With the price of the new Z, I am thinking more about keeping my Z and also getting a used Viper.

Holy $hit ... that thing is HOT! I'm assuming you did sell your old car ... no? I pretty much have decided to turn my '04 into a track car. I got my NASA license a few weeks ago. That got me all fired up to get this thing movin'. I'll let you know what happens. Once again, I'm sure I will have many questions.

Yes, I sold the T1 Vette in May. A nice guy from Nashville, TN, Jerry Onks, purchased it. I understand he is having some success with it.
While I was never a big Viper fan, I was floored when I first saw this car as a finished racer. I purchased it sight-unseen via Ebay (ultimate euphamism: you WON the auction!) and had a friend pick it up in my truck and trailer. Drove it to the race prep shop without even taking it out of the trailer until handing it over to them. Nine weeks later you see what I saw, and "wow!" was my reaction.
I will post a summary of my 2006 SCCA T1 season in another thread. My regular season finished yesterday (9/3), so now I start prepping for the Run Offs in Topeka.

I don't know, he didn't say. But I can't think there are too many guys running around with that name. He did say he was an autocrosser, and Danny knew my car was for sale (from what I have been told...I haven't met Danny yet).
