Is this right for an almost stock coupe?

Hey fellas,

I know I don't have a z but can't get any answers from other c5forums. I changed the the driving style when drag racing and went much faster. I first raced the car with 323 miles on it idled it out of the hole and only power shifted second gear. The car completely stock ran a best of 13.55@ 107.5. This last Sunday took the car to the same track and the weather conditions were very similiar. This time the car had 3600 miles on it, the zip tie mod, and I slipped the clutch out of the hole, power shifted all gears, and lowered my shift points from 6000 to 5800. Here's the time slip

60' 1.997
1/8 8.29@ 90.1
1/4 12.87 @ 111.4
The car is totally stock except for ziptied K&N and run flats in rear run at 23lbs and front ones at 40 lbs.

The next run was a 13.12 @ 112 the sixty was 2.2 didn't slip the clutch enough. I have set of used F1's off a Z will this improve the sixty foot? Input would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would say anything in the 12's is very fast for a stock coupe. I have never run my F1's at the track, just ET Streets. If you want to come out of the hole like a bullet, buy a set of ET Streets and hold on. ET Streets will give you 2 to 3 tenths in the 1/4.

Hassan,

The weather was 49 degrees with 52% humidity I don't know what the barometer was. Also will et streets eat the rear end with a very hard launch?
