T-1 results....
1. Chris Ingle 2:08.796
2. Joe Aquilante 2:09.885
3. Richard Watts 2:09.123
4. Tom Lyons.... 2:11.631
Messy start with Tom Lyons taking a shot from someone... Got turned around and lost the rear bumper... Watts got out to a big lead for a while, Ingle finally got around Aqualante for second as Joe could not hold him up any more.
Watts ran low on fuel, stumbled and Chris passed Richard as did Aqualante... and that is how they finished.
Nice drive by Chris Ingle... Once he got around Aqualante, he could not be caught! New lap record for Chris at 2:08.796!!! Chris should be the primo dark horse at the runoffs!! He is GOOD!!! Watch out Scotty White, this could be the next generation!!!!
Great drive by Richard Watts... He ran away and hid in the first three laps and had a 20 second lead by mid point... Just needed a bit more fuel..

Dang, I'm always out of town on these weekends! I need to go see this some time - LIVE.
Can't wait to get back out on the full course on Sept 21. Hoping for around 2:15-2:20 times (on streetable tires and bone stock suspension). I think my best so far is right around the 2:20-2:21 mark on standard street tires and factory '03 suspension.

Chris did great! He authorized us to tell you that he had our new camber plate kit and followed our suspension settings, then had a minor hit on a rear wheel and it did not change the aglinment. It is a absolute guarantee that with the stock camber cams, it would have moved the suspension. Hardbar products are sold through supporting vendorsand Ecklers, LAPD, LGM , and PFYC (redshift).
Chris is a great guy and one of the reasons I got into SCCA T1 racing this year. I figured if an Army Major could do well, surely a Navy Commander would excel.
I haven't had a chance to go head to head with him yet. I was looking forward to running against him at Roebling Road on the July 5 and 6th double National until a blown engine sidelined me.
