Single Layer or Dual Layer Jacket?

I have been worned numerous times that I need a fire jacket when racing the Z, so I figured its time to get one and as I was browsing the catalog, I noticed the jackets are offered in single layer or multi-layer. Is there a time restriction, where you would need the multi-layer? What kind of ET's can you run with only a single layer jacket? Both are SFI approved. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, you can run 10.00 with a single layer SFI 3.2A/1 jacket.
