Speed Ventures at Spring Mountain (Pahrump, NV) October 25th and 26th, 2003

Price: $140 one day / $240 both days (+ $30 per day instructor fee required for novices)

Duration: 2 day / 5 hours of track time per group!*

Track: Spring Mountain (Pahrump, NV)

Registration: Registration is open: https://www.speedventures.net/event_select.asp

Timing: There are currently transponders available for rental

Event Info:

Spring Mountain is the very popular track out of which the Bragg-Smith driving school operates. Like the Streets of Willow Springs, it is a great layout for car and driver development, making it ideal for novices. As can be seen from the map below, SM offers both the opportunity for speed on the long straight as well as a good combination of high-speed sweepers and technical sections. We will be running the full course in the clockwise direction. At only a few years old, the track is one of the newest in the west!

We will be running the traditional 3-group schedule for this event. Click here for the Schedule for this event.

*Note - Details of this event are subject to change.

John, Mike & I will be there. I think that we need a new membership. How much should I send including transponder fee? We want to keep our old #84.

The weather should be perfect at the end of this month. It was a little warm last weekend for Ruperts Corvette Only event.

Anyone that wants to give this a try should not miss this event. Speedventures puts on a fun & well organized event. Lots of really nice people as long as you don't mind those pesky little S2000's zipping past you ;-)

Well, there some solace in the fact that the S2000's zipping by you are far from stock S2000's

Janet, it's $60 a year for membership, and you're right that yours expired on 5-25-2003. I'll mention for others reading this that membership is optional and just reduces timing fees, which are also optional, and pays for itself in 4 events.

Oh yes, they are not quite stock and they also have fantastic drivers. It is enough to keep a Corvette pilot on her toes.

The check will be mailed to you right after we get back from the OTR Willow Springs Oct 8 event.

We got 5 new slicks before Ruperts event and should have just enough to get through your event. Then the credit card will have to grow new tires.

We'll see you in 3 weeks.
